Welcome to my blog! I first started designing cards out of necessity when I was living on our homestead in the Alaskan bush which is about three hours from the nearest Hallmark. I was hooked from that first card! Now, I live in Texas with my husband and our spoiled but gifted toy-poodle, April. When I'm not making cards, I'm writing. I wrote, "A Deliberate Life: A Journey into the Alaskan Wilderness". My newest book, "Max, the Boy Raindrop", is a children's picture book about finding courage. Max won the 2014 Discovery Prize Award in the Writers' League of Texas Book Contest. I created all the illustrations for Max using cardstock and scrapbooking tools! How could life get any better!?!
